The daughter of an unnamed - and not even half remembered - mermaid and sailor. Marina spends her time singing on a rock, surrounded by adoring sea creatures that seem to exist only to inflate her ego.

A carefree soul, she more or less assumes everything in the world will bend to her whim, and that everyone is there to serve her. She gets very angry when things don't go her way, and only takes the feelings of others into account in so much as it fits her own (often fleeting) fancy.

She's not willingly cruel. She's just incredibly secure in the knowledge that her rightful place is the center of the universe.
